The
Lamborghini Diablo SV Roadster which was introduced later in
the Diablo's lifespan was a lighter, lower geared, more focused
super car than the standard Diablo model. This was indicated
by the SV, which stood for Sport Veloce, part of the name.
The Lamborghini Diablo SV Roadster was designed to compete with
the likes of the Ferrari F50
which had a similar roadster configuration.
