The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary which was introduced
in 1988, was built to celebrate the 25th year of Lamborghini
as a company. The 25th Anniversary Countach model was mechanically
very similar to the Countach 5000QV but visually the two cars
were quite different.
The rear 'air boxes' behind the side windows were modified and
enlarged, a new front spoiler was fitted, the side skirts featured
integrated air intakes, the taillights were smaller and used
body-colored panels to fill out the gaps left by the original
light clusters.
The styling and aerodynamic changes made to the Countach 25th
Anniversary helped to keep the mid-mounted 5.2 litre V12 cool
- previously it had problems with over heating.
The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary was manufactured from
1988 to 1990, it was replaced by the Lamborghini Diablo.
