The
Ferrari F430 Scuderia is a track-biased, high-performance 2-seater
supercar which aptly demonstrates how lessons Ferrari's Formula
1 team have learned are translated into technology used in their
production cars.
The F430 Scuderia is based on the existing standard Ferrari F430 but features power and chassis enhancements.
The F430 Scuderia is aimed specifically at Ferrari's most passionate
and sports-driving oriented clients. Development of the car
focused on light weight, minimum trimmings and innovative technology.
This has resulted in a moderate horsepower increase - the 4.3
litre V8 develops 510 bhp @ 8500 rpm, as well as the latest
F1 derived software which reduces gearchange times to just 60
milliseconds, and new traction control which, for the first
time, combines the E-Diff electronic differential and the F1-Trac
traction and stability control in a single integrated system.
Distinctive visual features and aerodynamic modifications given
to the Ferrari F430 Scuderia include a more aggressive front
bumper with larger air inlets, a black lower taillight surround,
larger rear diffuser, relocated exhausts which exit through
the rear diffuser either side of the license plate, racing bucket
seats, unique 10 spoke gold colored wheels and a Scuderia badge
at the rear.
Total weight of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia is just 1250 kgs (2755
lbs), 100 kgs (220 lbs) less than the standard car.
