The 2010 Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet rounds off the latest generation of the Mégane model - which is available in no less than 6 body styles. The new Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is manufactured alongside the Scénic and Grand Scénic at Renault's Douai plant in France.

The 2010 Megane Coupe-Cabriolet features a large, folding glass roof which helps make the interior light and airy, even when the top is up. The roof sections feature a high-gloss finish, with black glass framing which is contrasted with the satin-effect chrome windscreen frame. The dark red taillights feature a linear lighting pattern and LED brake lights to provide a distinctive rear lighting signature.

New features which have been built into the 2010 Coupe-Cabriolet - based on lessons learnt with the previous model - include a repositioned windscreen and fixed glass wind deflector behind the rear seats which reduces wind buffeting for the passengers, superior handling thanks to a stiffer chassis (3x stiffer!) and new electric power steering system, and a wide range of drivetrain options including the all-new automatic EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) transmission.

The interior is available in three choices of trim, which range from dark charcoal and light beige to the charcoal and red two-tone finish with leather seats. Although the dashboard is identical to that of Mégane Hatchback, the seats offer additional lateral support, while the 'butterfly wing' door trim panel is specific to Coupé-Cabriolet.

Drivetrain options:

Petrol:
• 1.6 16V 110hp engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
• TCe 130 (Turbo Control efficiency) driving through a six-speed manual gearbox.
• 2.0 16V 140hp engine available with the new continuously variable transmission (CVT)

Diesel:
• dCi 110 DPF, mated either to the brand new six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) dual-clutch automatic transmission or to a manual six-speed gearbox.
• dCi 130 DPF which drives through a six-speed manual gearbox.
• dCi 160 DPF also with a six-speed manual gearbox.
