The Saab 210, nicknamed the 'Lill Draken', was a scale
test bed used in the development of the supersonic J35
Draken.
The Saab 210 'Lill Draken' was primarily used to test
and develop the highly swept wing design and better understand
the flight characteristics of such a design.
The aircraft was powered by a single Armstrong Siddeley
Adder AS.A.1 turbojet engine. During its lifetime the
Saab 210 'Lill Draken' was modified to improve flight
dynamics and better represent the final design of the
full size aircraft.
