The
BMW Z8 was a convertible sports car which was based on a concept
shown at the 1997 Tokyo Auto Show. The original concept was
based on the BMW 507 from the 1950's, and the Z8 echoes this
resemblance.
The BMW Z8 shot to fame in the James Bond movie The World Is
Not Enough where it starred alongside Pierce Brosnan (See Aston Martin DBS).
The BMW Z8 features an aluminium chassis, a 400 horsepower,
4.9 litre V8 engine and performance to match its main competitors.
In total only 5700 BMW Z8's were produced.
