The Confederate B120 Wraith first went on sale October 31, 2005.
Confederate machines offer a unique perspective on what a top-end
motorcycle should be. The bikes are constructed using the finest
materials and components all wrapped up in an unmistakable design.
The design of the Wraith was influenced by board track racers
and antique motorcycles. The engine is a 45 degree radial-twin
with a 4.125" bore and 4.5" stroke. This unit is neatly
displayed in the carbon
fiber and aluminium frame. Initially called the B91 Wraith
in prototype form, the production bike was renamed the B120
Wraith.
The front end of the B120 Wraith comprises of a Confederate
designed double wishbone, machined from aircraft grade billet
aluminum linked to aerodynamically designed carbon fiber wing
blades. The front brake consist of a 320 mm disc gripped by
a CNC billet machined 4 piston caliper.
At the rear of the bike is a single sided swingarm formed from
aircraft grade aluminium. The rear suspension is handled by
a Penske coil over shock absorber and titanium spring. Braking
of the rear wheel is done through a 220 mm disc and a 2 piston
caliper.
The Confederate B120 Wraith is is a limited edition model of
which only 250 will be constructed.
