For 2009 the Mitsubishi Eclipse received minor cosmetic changes
which include a new blacked-out front grille which mimics the
unit found on the Lancer Evolution, and at the rear a black
insert houses the twin exhausts.
Power for the 2009 Eclipse GT has also been improved slightly
thanks to a new exhaust system which bumps horsepower to 265
@ 5750 rpm, and torque to 262 lb-ft.
The styling of the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT was closely based
on that of the Mitsubishi
Eclipse Concept-E which had been unveiled several years
earlier.
