The Bugatti W18 Chiron prototype was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro
and built on a Lamborghini Diablo VT platform. The Chiron
was powered by a mid-mounted W18 engine, the same engine used
in the EB118 and EB218 concept cars. The name 'Chiron' comes
from a famous Bugatti racing driver, Louis Chiron.
