The Honda CBR 125 is
the classic no thrills introduction to motorcycling. The bike top speeds at
80 max struggles up hills and accelerates about as fast as a tortoise.
However it is a typical reliable Japanese gem, easy and fun to ride, the
bike is mass produced so parts are easily found and cheap. In my opinion the
bike looks great though the tyres are barely wider than a mountain bikes.
Yes the Aprilia 125 and Cagiva Mito are faster when they actually start or
are not in the repair shop but as a new rider the reliability, miles per
gallon, overall cost and ease of riding mean this should be the first choice
for new motorcyclists. It may not be fast but it sure is fun.
