The BMW LO Rider concept was first revealed at the 2008
EICMA motorcycle show in Milan.
The BMW LO Rider is a stylish bike which appears to be
partially influenced by grass tracker race bikes. Powering
the LO Rider is a boxer
twin engine sitting fully exposed under the curvaceous
gas tank. The unusual exhaust routing is one of the most
prominent features of the design.
Up front are conventional USD forks providing the suspension
- this replaces the Telelever fork commonly found on BMW
motorcycles.
The BMW LO Rider concept was created in order to gauge
public opinion the bike. If it's favorable then there
could be a production version in the pipeline.
