Window scrapers can come in two varieties. The kind which is used for scraping ice and snow off a windscreen in cold climates. And the sort which has a flat razor blade inserted into the leading edge to help remove debris from glass like glue residue from old stickers.

The two should not be confused. Pictured here is the type of window scraper which features a razor blade in the leading edge.
