A valve spring depressor is a tool used to depress the valve springs on Pontiac L4 2.5L, V6 2.8L, and all current Chevrolet and Pontiac V8 engines. Also for 1980 AMC Spirit. The tool fastens under rocker arm stud and pivots on valve spring.
