A
sash clamp (sometimes called a bar clamp) is essentially an oversized
G-clamp. It is used to clamp larger components in place. A sash
clamp can be adjusted using both ends of the clamp. At one end is
an adjustable jaw which can be set to the approximate size of the
material and then locked in place with a sturdy pin. At the other
end the jaw can be finely adjusted using a screw mechanism.
