A faceshield is a protective tool which is used to help protect the wearers face from dust, sparks, wood splinters and other small, but dangerous, flying objects.

Faceshields provide significantly more protection than safety glasses, as the toughened Plexiglas shield covers the entire face.

Face shields are usually held in place with an adjustable headband.

Some faceshields are also fitted with integrated ear defenders and/or a hard-hat.
