An exhaust pipe cutter is a tool used to cut the metal tubing which makes up the majority of a vehicles exhaust system. Most exhaust pipe cutters consist of an adjustable vice-like mechanism with small cutting wheels built into the pincers.

Once clamped onto the exhaust tubing the pipe cutter is spun around the pipe until the cut is made.
