A
computer memory saver is a small battery powered electronic device
which can be plugged into a vehicles cigarette lighter before disconnecting
the vehicles main battery in order to keep a small electric current
providing electricity to various components like security coded
stereos, clocks and computerised engine management systems.
The benefit of using a computer memory saver is that these systems
will not reset to original settings because of the lack of power.
Sometimes if these components do reset they require recalibration
or extra work to restore them to the correct settings.
