The Sentori 50 R is the latest in yacht to be revealed by motion
code: blue, an industrial and naval design firm founded
by Christopher Gloning and Christian Gumpold. The 50 R is currently
the smallest in the Sentori line of superyachts, sitting below
the Sentori 58 R and 84 S.
The Sentori 50 R is a luxurious and stylish flybridge motor
yacht, with three decks, a length of about 15.3 m (50 feet)
and a displacement of 18 tons. Like the other models in the
Sentori line the 50 R is heavily inspired by automobile design
which influences the main lines of the hull and the greenhouse.
The a-pillar which emanates from the foredeck and stretches
over the greenhouse is designed to give the yacht a coupe-like
profile.
The large windows are intended to enhance the concept of merging
interior and exterior living spaces, while a prominent window
in the hull - located in the main cabin - gives a unique view
just slightly above the waterline.
The flybridge area of the 50 R features a large sunbed at the
rear, a multifunction dining area, bar, sink, hotplate and refrigerator.
The table can be lowered to provide more space for sunbathing.
As an additional function, the bar acts as a skylight for the
salon underneath, which illuminates the flybridge indirectly
at night.
The Sentori 50 R is being constructed in Taiwan by Albatross
Yachts and Composite Ltd.
