The Kardis K6.9 Katanga is a stylish next-generation semi-rigid
powerboat designed by KEYFRAMESTUDIO for the Milan based shipbuilders
Kardis.
It features 2 x 250 horsepower engines and an ultralight design
which allows for high performance and speeds versus comparable
watercraft.
The layout allows for more intelligent and versatile use of
the internal space. Among the many clever features are the rear
seats which can be folded to form a double sunbed.
The K6.9 Katanga was designed with sport in mind. The hull is
specially designed to run smoothly and swiftly over rough water.
The entire boat was carefully designed to offer the best of
Italian style and tradition in nautical design. It versatile
and transformable spirit allows it to be moulded to every use
from daily family use, sport-fishing, water sports.
KEYFRAMESTUDIO say that inspiration for the boat came from a
number of sources including military aircraft and cyborg robots!
Well, that's something different. But either way it's a good
looking piece of kit.
