The
Yamaha FX Nytro RTX features a 130hp-class, three cylinder,
Genesis 130FI, four-stroke engine. This unit has a significant
performance improvement over the Genesis 120 engine. This
is due to a slightly larger displacement, 1050cc 3-cylinder
format and the introduction of Yamaha’s advanced fuel
injection technology. The Genesis 130FI uses Yamaha’s
advanced fuel injection system to control fuel flow to
the engine. Throttle response has been improved as a result
of the advanced electronic fuel injection system.
The Yamaha FX Nytro RTX features next-generation FX Nytro
front suspension with more trail and relaxed caster for
crisp steering response and confidence-inspiring, flat
handling in the corners and through the rough trail.
The headlight assembly and upper portion of the Yamaha
FX Nytro RTX is supported by a lightweight composite structure.
Using a lightweight composite material at the top of the
sled helps keep the centre of gravity low and deep in
the chassis, which improves stability and handling.
