I bought a Piaggio NRG Power DT for my son. Got told it was
as fast as a Speedfight. Even got told that de-resticted it
could not be beaten. Truth is de-restricted it has a max speed
of 45 mph and on the flat you will be lucky to get 38 mph. So
beware sales patter, it looks good but its de-restricted performance
is rubbish.

I disagree. The Piaggio NRG is super fast if specific tuning
is done. My Piaggio NRG does 70MPH on the flat, I know this
as I clocked it on my dads speed gun!
