Bitter was a small-scale automotive manufacturer in the 70's
and 80's. The 2008 Vero is the first production car from them
in almost 20 years.
The Bitter Vero is a luxury car based on the Holden Statesman
(Pontiac G8). The most notable changes to the car include new
front and rear bumpers. The new oval grill is larger and positioned
low down in the bumper. Under the bonnet is an aluminium 6.0
litre V8 developing 360 horsepower, this is mated to a five-speed
automatic gearbox driving the 20 inch rear wheels.
Inside, the Bitter Vero has been fitted with more luxurious
trimmings including a DVD player and television.
The Bitter Vero is essentially a lightly modified Holden Statesman
with a vastly superior price tag.
