Tommy
Kaira is a Japanese car tuning and manufacturing company headquartered
in Minami-ku, Kyoto, Japan. The company is named after two ex-racecar
drivers and the founders, Yoshikazu Tomita and Kikuo Kaira.
The parent company, Tomita Dream Factory, was originally founded
in 1968.
The Tommy Kaira ZZ is a small two seater sports car based around
a welded aluminium space frame chassis covered by a fibre glass
body. The engine of the ZZ is a Nissan sourced 2 litre, 16 valves
four-cylinder, with a modified fuel intake.
