The Spectre R45 was a development of the Spectre R42, a limited
production supercar from British speciality car manufacturer
Spectre Supersport Ltd.
Power for the car came from a Ford-sourced V8 motor, and the
bodywork was formed from carbon fiber.
Only two examples of the Spectre R45 were ever built before
the company went into bancruptcy. One was built purely for showing
to prospective buyers on the motor show circuit, while the other
was a fully developed road car. That car is now in the hands
of a private owner in the UK.
