The
2006 Paris Motor Show was the venue for the unveiling of the
Peugeot 207 Spider. The 207 Spider is intended for use in a
one-make race event supporting the five-round Le Mans series.
The Peugeot 207 Spider is the production culmination of the
Peugeot 20Cup
concept car. However unlike the 3 wheeled 20Cup, the 207
Spider has four wheels. But the styling is very similar.
The Peugeot 207 Spider is powered by a rear mounted turbocharged
1.6 litre four cylinder
developing 175 horsepower. The drivetrain of the 207 Spider
is standard, apart from the intake and exhaust systems. The
car is built around a tubular chassis and complies fully with
international sports-car regulations.
