The Nissan R390 GT1 was a road legal supercar which was developed
as a homologation special in order to allow a similar machine
to race in the GT class of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
The R390 GT1 was never offered for sale, however it was rumored
to be worth nearly 100 million Yen.
Powering the R390 GT1 was a mid mounted 3.5 litre V8 engine
which produced, in road form, 350 horsepower @ 5,200 rpm, and
490 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. Power was sent to the rear wheels
via a six-speed sequential transmission.
Braking came courtesy of 14 inch ventilated disc brakes from
AP Racing.
