The
Nissan 300ZX brought Nissan's 'Z' series of sports cars back
into the lime light. The original 'Z' car, the 240Z, was a beautiful
and popular sports car but over the years the following models
became more bloated, ugly and softer. The 300ZX went a long
way to reverse this trend.
The top model Nissan 300ZX was powered by a 280 horsepower,
twin turbo, 3.0 litre V6. The RWD Nissan 300ZX had a complex
multi-link suspension and four wheel steering. The interior
of the 2+2 300ZX was comfortable and more refined than most
similar aged Japanese sports cars.
