The
2006 Mercedes-Benz SL 600 is powered by a V12 biturbo engine.
The output and maximum torque of this engine stand at 517 hp
(380 kw) and 830 newtonmetres respectively. This twelve-cylinder
engine accelerates the SL 600 from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h)
in just 4.5 seconds.
The Mercedes-Benz SL 600 features ABC (Active Body Control)
active suspension system as standard. Compared with the previous
SL generation, body movements in dynamic driving situations
have been reduced by up to 60 percent. Despite its agility,
the SL 600 still offers a high degree of comfort.
