The
Palmer Jaguar JP1 track car was built in the style of a Le Mans
racer. The JP1 is used by ex-F1 driver Jonathan Palmer in his
'Motorsport Sensation' track day programme, where novice and
experienced drivers can test its abilities.
The 3.0 litre V6 comes courtesy of Jaguar's X-Type, with some
performance modifications. Under the JP1's aerodynamic fiber
glass bodywork is a tubular space-frame chassis with fully adjustable
independent suspension.
The 'Motorsport Sensation' programme runs eight Palmer Jaguar
JP1 cars, while a small number of 'evolution' JP1's are offered
for sale.
