The
De La Chapelle Roadster is a two seat sports car from France.
Two engines are available for the Roadster, a 2 litre 4 cylinder
and a 3 litre 6 cylinder. Depending on the engine and performance
options the De La Chapelle Roadster develops anywhere between
138 to 250 + horsepower.
The engine is transversally mounted behind the driver like many
other sports cars. This configuration optimizes the De La Chapelle
Roadster's performance giving a car that is as agile on the
road as it is on the track.
The body of the De La Chapelle is signed by Bertrand Barré,
one of the most talented and prolific designers in France.
De La Chapelle is a French independent car maker which was founded
in the early 1970s by Xavier De La Chapelle.
