The
Cunningham C7 concept was unveiled at the 2001 Detroit Motor
Show. The C7 was built by the son and grandson of Briggs Cunningham
who raced at Le Mans in the 1950s. The Cunningham company is
co-owned by Bob Lutz (GM vice chairman). It was the job of designer
Stewart Reed to create a 21st century of Briggs Cunningham's
Le Mans racer. The Cunningham C7 was the result.
Power for the C7 comes from a 6.8 liter V12 engine producing
over 500bhp.
