The
Bizzarrini BZ-2001 was a one off supercar built on a Ferrari
Testarossa chassis. It was intended as a supercar for the 21st
Century. The BZ-2001 was designed by Ing. Bizzarrini at the
request of Barry Watkins, the financier and visionary behind
the car.
After the fully operational concept was developed, the original
intention was to construct 20 examples of the BZ-2001 to exacting
specifications supplied by the buyers. Eventually the car would
go into full scale production of 150 cars per year. However
this proved not to be the case and the Bizzarrini BZ-2001 remained
a concept.
