The
2009 Porsche Cayman S Sport is a limited edition model of the
Cayman S, just 700
examples of the Cayman S Sport due to be produced. Each model
of the production run will be distinguished by a numbered plaque
on the glove box.
Enhancements to the Porsche Cayman S Sport include a new sport
exhaust which allows the engine to develop a further 8 horsepower,
bringing the total to 303 horsepower.
The Porsche Cayman S Sport is fitted with Porsche's active suspension
management system (PASM). To further enhance the cars already
outstanding handling characteristics the track has been widened
by 10mm (0.4 inches) and the ride height lowered by the same
amount.
Visual changes include the garish paintwork, available as standard
is the same orange or green colors found on the Porsche
911 GT3 RS. Thankfully more discreet hues are available
as an option. These include black, red, yellow, white, and silver
metallic. The body color is contrasted with multi-spoke black
alloy wheels
Inside the Porsche Cayman S Sport is a Sports Chrono package
and alcantara trim.
