Review by: Mike Samarzja
Just browsing through images and noticed the Buell S2 Thunderbolt
article is inaccurate. The photo is of an S3 Thunderbolt. The
HP for the S2 was 76 not 101. It did not have the Thunderstorm
heads or the helmholtz resonator airbox used to produce 101
HP. I know this because it was the first bike I designed at
Buell. I worked as either the only industrial designer or the
manager of the ID dept. from 1991 until 2008 and designed bikes
from S2 through 1125CR.

The Buell S2 Thunderbolt was built on the Buell
RS1200 frame.
A short article on Buell's
radical engineering.
