The 2006 Yamaha Morphous with its 249cc 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve,
liquid-cooled engine produces a broad powerband that can turn
a 0-55 in around 5 seconds with a top speed of around 65 to
70mph. At 408 lbs (185 kg) it has just enough weight along with
a length of 93.3" a width of 32.5" and a height of
41.3" to give a smooth and steady ride.
If you're looking for economy in these times of high fuel prices,
it has a 3.7gal tank that will get you around 60 to 70 mpg.
You can't go wrong. The sleek body style and aerodynamics give
it a "cutting" edge as you cruise either through town or motor
it down the highway. If you are a novice rider, the Yamaha Morphous
will give you the pleasure and experience of riding on the open
road, and while the more veteran riders would find it to be
perhaps a little slower than what they may be use to, they would
find it to be a fun and inexpensive way for commuting to and
from work, or play.

The Yamaha Morphus brings a whole new level to the scooter market.
The Morphus is sleek, refined, and handles like a dream. Nice
amount of storage, but it wont take a full face helmet. Doesn't
look like a traditional scooter, and people stop and ask all
the time.
Well worth considering, if you are in the market for a larger
scooter. |
