Based in Bologna, Italy, NCR are a premium motorcycle tuner
who specialize in creating high performance bikes based on Ducati
models.
The NCR Millona M16 uses a Ducati
Desmosedici RR as its starting point. From there NCR add
their own fast bits which raise the performance and reduce the
overall weight by a considerable 26 kgs (58 lbs).
The NCR Millona M16 features a carbon fiber frame which is specially
designed by NCR. Into this the race-derived 1.0 litre V4 engine
is fitted. This unit benefits from some some tweaks by NCR and
a full titanium exhaust. The NCR CORSE racing slipper clutch
is combined with a lightened 6-speed gearbox. With this setup
the NCR Millona M16 is able to offer up an immense 200 horsepower
at the rear wheel.
The chassis of the bike is complimented by a top-shelf suspension
system which comprises of Ohlins units front and back. Up front
are 43 mm forks with adjustable offset, and at the rear an adjustable
Ohlins TTX monoshock is used. To keep the unsprung weight down
the Millona M16 is fitted with carbon fiber wheels from NCR.
Front and rear brakes both feature ceramic composite discs and
Brembo calipers.
Stylewise the NCR Millona M16 is stripped down and all the lower
fairings are done away with to show off that fabulous engine.
NCR offer the bike in a variety of their own color combinations
and designs. Or if you'd prefer, they'll paint it up in any
scheme you specify.
