The
Kawasaki ER-6f is a the full faired version of Kawasaki's recent
arrival, the ER-6n. The ER-6f was designed at the exclusive
Kawasaki design facility in Akashi, Japan. The ER-6f is aimed
at all riders, experienced and novice, male and female.
The new bike will be available from late '05, and is mechanically
identical to the naked version both using Kawasaki's parallel
two-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection, ensuring
seamless and smooth power delivery across the rev range.
Like its unfaired sibling the ER-6f will give some competition
to other fun, cheap, entry level Japanese sports bikes, while
offering improved weather protection and aerodynamics.
The Kawasaki ER-6f is called the Ninja 650R in the US.
