During its lifetime, the Ducati Monster 620 was the entry level
model in the Monster lineup.
It looked great, but then so do all Ducati Monsters. It also
benefitted from the improving build quality of Ducati through
the early 2000s.
On the downside, it can feel a little underpowered for more
experienced riders. The suspension is also a bit on the soft
side. Larger riders may also find the compact size of the Monster
M620 a bit cramped.
On the upside the chassis features superb Brembo brakes.
Many of the negative issues relating to the Monster M620 can
be fixed thanks to a very healthy aftermarket parts market for
the bike. Including power and suspension upgrades, redesigned
pegs and handlebars and carbon fiber fairings.
