The Ducati Monster M1000S was a higher-specification versio
of the M1000.
It featured a range of cosmetic enhancements including a color-matched
front fairing and rear seat cover, as well as carbon
fiber exhaust guards and side panels.
The chasis was improved with the addition of Showa front forks
that are fully-adjustable for compression, rebound and pre-load
combined with a lightweight aluminum swingarm.
The engine of the Monster 1000S was unchanged from the standard
bikes 992 cc V-twin unit.
