Although classically styled, the Paul Smart 1000 Limited Edition
is engineered to deliver modern Ducati road performance. The
bike was produced for just one year.
The Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE was built to commemorate Paul Smart's
win at the Imola 200km race in 1972.
The limited edition model featured a trellis
frame which was complemented by Ohlins fully adjustable
suspension, both front and rear.
Powering the bike is the 1000 DS engine, which at the time was
the most advanced and powerful Ducati air-cooled engine ever.
