The
Cagiva Raptor was designed by Miguel Galluzzi, the man responsible
for the first Ducati Monsters. The Raptor uses a gorgeous lightweight
and strong steel tube trellis
frame mated to a modified Suzuki TL1000S engine.
The Engine benefits from Cagiva's own fuel injection and exhaust
system. These changes together with a revised final gear ratio
give the Raptor 1000 exceptional performance, with impressive
acceleration in all gears.
The Raptor has proved to be an excellent package since its launch
in 2000. The use of upside-down front forks, rear monoshock
and high-performance Brembo brakes give the Raptor sportsbike
handling characteristics. The Italian styling merely completes
the package.
