The Bimota SB7 which was introduced in 1994 was a limited-edition
sports bike powered by a 749 cc 4 cylinder engine borrowed from
the Suzuki GSX-R750, although Bimota fitted their own fuel injection
system.
The frame of the Bimota SB7 was an innovative aluminium beam
unit which used two large beams (visible on the picture) to
connect the steering head directly to the swingarm pivot. This
chassis design endowed the Bimota SB7 with superb handling characteristics.
Bimota only made 200 examples of the SB7.
