The BMW F650GS was an off-road motorcycle produced from 2000
- 2007.
It was powered by a single-cylinder engine providing 42 horsepower.
The Rotax engine features computer controlled fuel injection,
and a cleverly designed airbox. It was both fuel economical
and also had relatively low emissions.
The BMW F650GS was sold in three versions. The standard bike,
a lowered model with a lower seat height, and a more off-road
orientated model called the Dakar.
During its lifetime BMW sold over 100,000 units of the F650GS
meaning that there are a large number of aftermarket accessories
available for the bike and a healthy owners community.
