The Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab, and its smaller regular cab cousin,
were limited edition high performance versions of the popular
Dodge Ram pickup.
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab was developed after the regular
cab model and was introduced in 2005.
It was powered by a 8.3 litre V10 engine borrowed from the Viper.
This engine produced 510 horsepower and 525 lb/ft of torque.
Performance was, unsuprisingly, pretty quick. 0-60 mph took
just 5.2 seconds, while the top speed was 147 mph. The regular
cab version was a little quicker at 4.9 seconds and 153 mph
respectivley.
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab was only available with a 4-speed
automatic transmission, unlike the regular cab model which had
a manual 6-speed option.
A body-colored aluminum tonneau cover with an aerodynamic spoiler
came standard on the Quad Cab model.
