For 2011 Chevrolet has updated and equipped the Equinox SUV
with a flex-fuel capable V6 engine option. Other changes for
the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox include standard heated seats on
the 2LT model; bluetooth, a USB port, and a leather wrapped
steering wheel for the 1LT. The Chevrolet Equinox LS model gets
a compass.
New paintwork options for 2011 include a new color called twighlight
blue.
The Chevrolet Equinox offers the most rear-seat legroom of any
compact crossover, plus other comfort and convenience features
like; standard power driver seat height and lumbar adjuster,
ten storage areas, optional power-programmable liftgate that
adjusts to your height, quiet interior through use of acoustic
laminated glass and sound-deadening materials.
An fuel-saving 6-speed automatic transmission and an optional
2.4L ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine with direct injection means up
to 600 highway miles between fill-ups. The 2.4L engine also
features an ECO button that allows you to switch to a fuel-saving
mode, which can increase the Equinox's fuel economy when compared
to normal running mode.
