Q7 TDI V12 - Audi's diesel-powered SUV flagship
The 2008 Audi Q7 TDI V12 will be the first production Audi to use
the V12 diesel engine based on the Le Mans winning diesel V12 engine
used in the Audi R10 race car.
The Audi Q7 TDI V12 will have 493 horsepower and 738 lb/ft (1000 Nm)
of torque delivered to all four wheels via a 6-speed tiptronic gear
box. The Q7 TDI V12 has a 0-60 time of around 5.5 seconds and a 155
mph electronically limited top speed.
Aesthetically the V12 TDI equipped Q7 will feature a reworked front
end with larger air intakes on either side of the grille, and flush
fitting exhausts blending into the rear bumper.
