At Bognor Pier in Bognor Regis, England, sometime between July-September
a strange competition takes place.
Birdmen competitors take it in turns to throw themselves off
the pier attached to various contraptions in an attempt to 'fly'
the furthest and win the £25,000 prize. Some serious competitors
arrive with sophisticated machines but most just do it for fun
and don't really stand a chance of going anywhere.
