Pads
Brake pads are the friction pads which grip the brake disc during braking. The brake pads are housed
in the brake caliper and are pushed out by the small pistons
in the brake caliper when the brake pedal is pushed. Brake
pads are generally replaced easily and they are the most common
part replaced when servicing the brakes.
