Boost Gauge

A boost gauge is a gauge that measures the pressure in the intake manifold of a vehicle equipped with a turbocharger or supercharger. A boost gauge is useful in performance driving to show the approach of the so-called power band within a given range of available boost pressure. It can also be used to make sure that excessive pressure is not being produced in engines that have been modified to work at higher levels.
