The unusual TECA concept, from UK design agency TECA Technologies,
was a 'Microvehicle' concept designed to be safer, more
convenient and more efficient than conventional motorbikes.
The aerodynamic body of the TECA concept was designed
to give the vehicle a slippery profile which would improve
performance and fuel efficiency. The monocoque
structure was made from a lightweight carbon
fibre composite. It was designed to be strong enough
to protect the occupant should the bike end up sliding
down the road.
